Kacey's Recovery

Our niece Kacey had surgery this morning at 7:45 am. Kacey is my sister Jaime's 3rd in line of four kids. Kacey was born with only one kidney. She is 2 1/2 years old, just a few months older than Theya. She has had a fluid filled mass growing behind her kidney that the doctors have been keeping an eye on. This last week she started having some pain and Jaime took her to the doctor and they thought she had a bladder infection and they were treating her for that. It got worse and Jaime took Kacey to the ER. They discovered the fluid filled mass had grown and was now the size of a tennis ball. The pain and problems were being caused from that and not a bladder infection. So this morning, sweet little Kacey had surgery at the Children's Hospital to drain the fluid. After reading this blog please say a prayer for Kacey's speedy recovery, for my sister Jaime, her husband John and their 3 other children as they go through this. Thanks for your prayers they are appreciated.
