This is Theya's stocking that I made for her in 2006 for her first Christmas.

These are the stockings I just made for the boys. It is a very fun creative process. I first sketch out what I want, then I make my patterns and cut out the material. Then I stitch every thing by hand with all different stitches. I just make it up as I go.

Now that the stockings are finished I can move on to wrapping and baking. How fun!!! I'm going to be making Mini Chip cheesecakes (everyones favorite, they fight over them), Pumpkin Chiffon Pie, Pumpkin Pie and numerous kinds of cookies. I better get going if I want to get it all done before we head to Jaime's. I love baking, especially pies and cheesecakes.

My mom and I made mine and Micah's stockings the first year we were married, nine years later (and two kids) they are the only hand-made ones on our mantel... I need more time! :)
