I'm finished with the stockings!!!

I had a lot of fun making them and I'm finally finished. It's so fun to be able to make something like this. Don't get me wrong I love my job of being a wife and mother but sometimes; cleaning, cooking and laundry get old. Making the stockings let's me feel a sense of accomplishment because I see something finished with my time. Thank you Arlen for all your cooking and watching the kids so I could work on this.

These are the stockings I just made for the boys. It is a very fun creative process. I first sketch out what I want, then I make my patterns and cut out the material. Then I stitch every thing by hand with all different stitches. I just make it up as I go.

Now that the stockings are finished I can move on to wrapping and baking. How fun!!! I'm going to be making Mini Chip cheesecakes (everyones favorite, they fight over them), Pumpkin Chiffon Pie, Pumpkin Pie and numerous kinds of cookies. I better get going if I want to get it all done before we head to Jaime's. I love baking, especially pies and cheesecakes.
