I just wanted to share this picture of eggs from our neighbors. We already ate a few before I took the picture. But don't they look good! I'm so excited for our chickens to start laying. If we're lucky we should see our first eggs in August. Right now the neighbors have been giving us eggs and we give them milk. Thanks Paul and Jennifer, we really enjoy them!

Also a big thanks to Jennifer for the meal you guys brought over the other day. My allergies were so bad a few days last week that I could not even function. I few days a could barely see even though I'm taking medication and using eye drops. Your meal fed us for two nights and was so appreciated. Today is the first day I've felt normal in the past week.
Kalen and Gannon both just got over Roseola. You can tell Gannon still looks sick in this picture. His hair is just so funny. Just this last week its finally getting long enough that its starting to lay down.
Here's the chicken coop getting built.
We found old windows and a door in the barn to use and it makes the chicken coop look like it fits in with all the other old buildings. We used left over siding from a barn Arlen built a while back and we got some old cedar siding from some friends and Arlen ripped the boards down to use for trim. Thank you Tom and Kayli! It just needs a final coat of paint. The chickens are enjoying their new home and I have my laundry room back!!!
Here's a picture of my new baby. Isn't he cute?! I'm also the proud owner of his Mom, Ginger. She's still too skinny and we're working on it. I upped her grain ration again tonight. I've halter him a few times and he's so sweet. It adds more to my plate but is so nice to put the kids to bed and go outside and spend time with them. It's so refreshing for me. Does anyone have any good boy horse names? Names are so hard for me so he still is unnamed and I feel bad. I really need to figure it out, so any suggestions?
