Holly is HOME!!!

Yes, you read that right, Holly is home!!! Praise the Lord, we are so thankful! Thank you so much to all of you have been faithfully praying for Holly.

Holly posted this on facebook Friday afternoon. "I am home and alive and so very thankful for my life and family and friends. Life is so precious and so easy to take for granted...something I will never do again. God is so good...amazing...wonderful...awesome. Thank you so much everyone for all the prayers and thoughts. I feel all the love and support being sent my way."

I got to talk to Holly on Friday morning for the first time and it was so good to hear her voice. They were finally able to get her pain managed. She is on 9 different medications. They have a big chart made up to remember which ones to take when. They set the alarm or timer to remember. Brandon has to wake her up in the middle of the night to take some of them.

Holly will be having 3 brain surgeries. The first one won't be for another 2-6 weeks. They need to wait until the blood drains off and the swelling goes down before they operate. This is going to be a long recovery (maybe years). She will not be able to be left alone or take care of the kids. She's still going to need a lot of prayers, support and help.

Arlen and I have been praying so much this week. It has been amazing to see God answer the tiniest prayers this week and sometimes immediately even before we're finished praying. I am amazed at how much He cares for and loves us.

Thank you God for saving Holly's life and for Zachary's bravery and every one's support.
