Lilypie Maternity tickers

It has been...

...a very surreal day. I got a call early this morning from my Mom. My first thought was wow she's calling me early about getting a mattress for Theya. But then she started talking and it was like getting punched in the stomach. My sister Holly was found unconscious this morning by her 5 year old son. Only a few weeks ago Holly taught him how to call 911 and this morning he remembered what to do and he called 911 and got his Mom help.

At first this morning she was still unconscious in the hospital and they did not know why. Holly has 5 and 3 year old boys and a 2 month old daughter. Holly is only 25 years old. The nurse in the hospital was taking care of the kids.

These pictures are the last day I saw Holly and her family before they moved. They were recently relocated to a base in California. Her husband Brandon is in the Coast Guard. Just after moving Holly had the baby and only a couple of weeks later Brandon was sent to Mississippi to train on a new boat that he then was going to sail to California. (I think he was suppose to be gone for about 5 months.)

So Holly has been a single Mom, getting Zachary off to kindergarten, chasing around Devon and breastfeeding a newborn. She needs a Super Mom of the Year Award! This last week she has been having severe neck pain to the point that she could not look at the baby to nurse nor get Zachary off to school.

The hospital ran a cat scan and discovered what they thought was a brain tumor and bleeding. So she was transferred to another hospital. She has now regained consciousness and they have done an MRI. They have found it to be a mass of brain tissue and blood vessels. It is likely that she was born with this. Right now all I know is that it is in a difficult place to operate on and they will be doing more tests tomorrow. She has lost her short-term memory and is confused.

As soon as I got off the phone with my Mom, I started trying to locate Brandon. The boat he was on had a helicopter pad so they were able to get him to a airport. He was suppose to arrive in California tonight around 9:30.

Holly has been able to put a lot of breast milk in the freezer so Andrea will be able to drink that for awhile. Please pray she will be able to take a bottle well.

My parents were able to get on a plane right away and got there as fast as they could. At one point today I think the local police were looking after the children.

I will keep updates on here and I ask if you are reading this to please pray for Holly, her husband and her children.

Dear God, please bring complete healing to Holly and please give your peace that surpasses all understanding to everyone especially Brandon and the kids. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I love you so much Holly!!!
