Christmas Eve

We opened the presents that my parents sent on Christmas Eve. The kids loved all the garland and tinsel used as packing material in all the presents.

Theya was so excited when she saw the bubble wrap and starting jumping up and down on it and yelling, "Grandma and Grandpa got me bubble wrap!" She really thought it was part of her present.
Theya needed new markers and was so excited when she discovered they were in her box.
The kids are helping me open Arlen and I's present.
My step dad loves tinsel and the kids had fun burying me in it. Getting ready to eat our traditional Christmas Eve dinner. We had homemade boneless buffalo style chicken wings with homemade ranch dressing and blue cheese dressing for dipping in. Plain homemade nuggets for the kids with homemade honey mustard sauce for dipping. Spicy potato wedges and a veggie tray with more homemade ranch dressing. No forks required. It might not be traditional for some but we love it. And served on beautiful Christmas dishes that my Grandma Carol gave me. I loved using them this year, thanks Grandma. Our beautiful Christmas tree. The boys took light bulbs out so only the bottom few inches of lights worked by Christmas Eve. And it had been knocked over so many times that the braches were bent and the ornaments were all over with remants of ripped up pieces of paper chain and pieces of garland and tinsel from Grandma and Grandpa's presents. The kids thought it was beautiful at least and that's what counts.
