Kalen and Gannon had their first taste of solid food tonight for dinner. I mixed 2 Tbsp. of rice cereal and 8 tsp. of breast milk in a bowl for them to share. Gannon had the first bite and really liked it. When it came time for his second bite he grabbed the spoon to shove it in his mouth himself. He was really messy and not very good at moving the food to the back of his mouth to swallow it. I'm not sure how much he really swallowed, it was mostly all over his face and bib.
Kalen really liked eating too. He wasn't as aggressive and didn't try to grab the spoon, but he was really good at moving the food to the back of his mouth and swallowing. He was very neat and he swallowed almost all of the bites he was given.
