A fun day at Stoney Ridge Farms

We went to Stoney Ridge Farms this afternoon. Arlen and I each had a baby in a carrier and took Theya to have some fun. When we first got there we went and looked at all the animals. Theya had fun feeding all the different birds they have; ducks, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks to name a few.

Then we went on a hay wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and corn maze. We walked around in the corn maze for a while. Theya thought it was pretty neat that the corn was taller than Daddy. Then we walked around in the pumpkin patch and looked at all the pumpkins and squash.
Theya had been asking the entire time to go on the train and couldn't wait any longer so that's what we did next. The train is actually our neighbors that live across the road. We always watch them load it up to take it to the next event. So, Theya had fun riding on the train she always sees across the road. I think she actually thought she was driving the train. She was constantly steering and when the train would take a corner she was hand over hand turning. It was so cute to watch her having so much fun.

Then she played in the playground, and went down the slide several times landing on her butt. We were there a few hours and had a great time. Next year the boys will be older and we'll be able to stay longer.

NEXT year, the boys will be walking, and you'll be chasing three kids around, not just one...

You'll be grateful for the time in the train b/c at least they'll all be in one place. :)

looks like you guys had a great time!
