Holly's Surgery is Tomorrow

I just got home from taking my mom and stepdad to the airport. They are on their way to Holly's because she is having brain surgery tomorrow.

Holly had an MRI yesterday and is having another one today and an eye test. She has to be at the hospital at 5:30 am tomorrow and surgery starts at 7:30 am. The surgery will be about 5-6 hours long. She will be in the ICU for one or two days and in the hospital for a total of 5 days if everything goes as planned. They don't have to shave her entire head which I'm thankful for her. They only need to shave a small area and her other hair will cover it until it grows back.

Holly's in-laws arrived yesterday and tonight after our parents get there they are having an early birthday party for Devon. He turns 4 in a couple of weeks.

The surgeon told Holly not to be surprised if she wakes up and he tells her that he didn't get all of the AVM and that they'll have to do surgery again. She also might lose more vision or speech and have to do therapy afterward. Please pray that they will get the entire mass and that she won't lose any vision or speech or anything.

My Mom and Monte brought a lot of stuff with them and are preparing to be there for awhile if they have to be. Please keep everyone involved in your prayers, thank you. My Mom will call with updates and as I know things I will put updates on here and facebook.
