This afternoon the phone rang and it was my sister Holly. It was so, so good to hear her voice. She sounded so good. She went home on Sunday and is going back to the hospital tomorrow to get her staples out. She is feeling really good and the doctors are really impressed with her recovery. She's just having problems with her vision. She can't see from the right side to the center out of each eye. The doctors are hoping that will improve as the swelling in her brain goes down. Before she had surgery I thought they were only going to shave a small area but from the pictures she posted today on facebook it is much bigger.
She has a great attitude and this is her current status on facebook. "I'm home and feeling pretty good. A lot getter than I expected I would be feeling. I lost half my vision so it is really hard to see to type this. The doctor thinks the vision should come back when the swelling in my brain goes down. I am going to have an awesome scare! They took a pretty good size chunk off my head. Thank you Father God for this experience. Life, how fun!

This is great news, I have been following holly's facebook page as well. So glad to see that she is doing well and the surgery went well also! Hoping that she can move on from this ordeal with minimal problems once healed up. :D
