I'm thankful for....three very healthy kids. We are so blessed. A lot of people I know with twins have had issues with their babies being premature and the challenges that go along with that. Kalen was very small but very strong and I worked incredibly hard at breastfeeding him. Both boys are so ahead of the curve and ahead of where Theya was at the same age. A couple of weeks ago they transitioned and began walking more than crawling. They're both practically running and learning to climb things. Kalen's just still not on the weight chart. He needs to be on it by his birthday or we're going to have to start looking into why he's so tiny. I've started calling him 'Mighty Mouse' because he's so strong despite his size.
I'm listening to....Sid and Science Kid and Theya turning the entire living room into a jungle gym with all the couch cushions and pillows.
What's for dinner tonight....homemade pizza, garlic bread and carrot and celery sticks with Ranch.
What I'm looking forward to....planning Arlen, Theya, Kalen, and Gannon's birthday party. It's going to be a small party with only immediate family but its going to be fun! Since the boys' are turning 1 we want to keep the party small so they don't get overwhelmed but I've got lots of fun things planned.
What's happening this week....more fencing, building shelving in the storage room, planting flowers, and getting my supplies to make mozzarella and hard cheeses.
I am missing....the way this world was when I grew up. It's a much different place and I've had a hard time letting go. I know God's in control but that doesn't mean I need to like what's happening. Times like these make me even more thankful for our wonderful neighbors. Its people like that, that make this country great!
