Mother's Day

Arlen was trying to get a good picture of the kids and I before church but they weren't cooperating very well. Kalen kept pretending he was sleeping and then Gannon started copying him or someone would have their hand or foot in the way.

We finally got a good one!

After church we went to the grocery store quick and Tim Horton's for a little snack. The kids had Tim Bits for the first time and before we had them Theya asked, "Are they little bits of food". For those that don't know, Tim Bits are donut holes that Tim Horton's sells in boxes of assorted flavors. They are a very yummy little snack.

After lunch and a little nap we drove down the road to a small school to let the kids play at the playground. The kids had a lot of fun since there's not much to do at our house with a lawn of dirt and mud. It is amazing to me how much better they are at climbing everything and so much stronger than they were last year. Gannon is a little monkey and fearless. Theya even made it to the third monkey bar without falling.

When we got home Arlen made us a yummy dinner of steak, ranch potatoes and green beans. Then the kids gave me their present.

They all made me a card and gave me a new hand mixer and chocolate. I've been needing a new hand mixer for a long time but I just don't buy things for myself and I appreciate it very much. It's already been put to good use many times.

So good to be reading your blog again and seeing how the kids have grown and reading about your adventures. I am trying to get back into the blogging thing myself! Stay tuned.
