Babies, Babies and More Babies!!!

Theya wanted Kalen in her bed after nap time the other day. It was so sweet! Theya and all her 'buddies'.
Kalen pulled himself up into the dishwashers yesterday, too funny.
Thursday night Tom, our landlord showed up with one of his horses and her baby. He didn't even know she was pregnant. His other horses weren't letting the baby nurse and he was not doing good. He quickly brought them over here. Tom doesn't want the baby and was just going to let nature take its course. I just can't let that happen so we offered to take care of them. So, its not for sure yet but we might become the proud owners of a sweet baby horse. He is adorable. I cuddle with him a couple of times a day if I can. We've got mom, Ginger on good alfalfa hay and grain and she and baby are doing much better.

We also got 15 Rhode Island Red chicks on Thursday. It was a busy day. They are living in the laundry room. The kids love them. Were down to 14 chicks. We knew not all of them would make it. They have already grown so much. I can't believe how much they eat!
Theya gave the boys both pillows and then came running in the kitchen saying, "Mom, Mom the boys are so cute you have to take a picture." So here they are with their pillows.
Gannon took his first step on March 13th. The boys were 9 months old on March 15th. Gannon took three steps in a row on March 19th and is now walking around the house as much as he can.
Kalen took his first step today. He is doing really good. He keeps taking a step, falling, taking a step, falling, etc. He really wants to walk too. I can't believe how early they're both walking.
Here's Maddie nursing her 'twins'. I know how she feels. She's growing our meat, so we haven't named the kids and I'm not going to get attached. I keep telling myself we'll have babies again next year, because they are so sweet.
One of the kids standing on Sage's back. They always jump up there and take a ride, its fun to watch them out the window.
Theya giving the one of the babies a kiss.
The goats trying to figure out Theya.
Carrying the compost bucket.
Giving Sage a treat...

...and Maddie.

Hi neighbor, It is so fun to see the kids and all the animals. Isn't 'farming' fun?? And I only have puppies!
Have a great day.
