On Saturday afternoon Arlen made our first yogurt and we were able to eat it Sunday morning for breakfast. We threw in a few berries and it was delicious.

Last night I made our first cheese. I started with a gallon of milk and made Fromage Blanc cheese flavored with Herbs De Provence (rosemary, thyme, savory, fennel seed, basil, lavender, marjoram) and salt. We were able to try it tonight for the first time. It turned out so good!

We've checked out a few books from the library on cheese making and there are so many good cheeses I want to try. After I get soft cheeses down I'm going to try hard cheeses.
