Arlen's mom found 24 new diapers on KiJiJi for sale for $50 Canadian, which worked out to be about $40 US. They are Gabby's Primeau Diapers. They are made in Calgary and I really like them.

The insides of the diaper are only attached on one side so they dry really fast, which is nice because I go through 12-15 diapers a day between the two boys. I've been washing diapers at least every day and a half. I thought at first I'd make some fitted diapers but have decided against it because I just don't want to take the time to make them right now. I'm just going to make some prefold diapers which will be super fast to make. I'm also going to make some doublers out of knit terry cloth and cotton fleece to use in the diapers at night.
I made 24 wipes out of some old towels and left over flannel. I made one side terry cloth...

...and the other side flannel. I then top stitched around them with different colors of thread. I love them. They work so much better than disposable wipes.
I made the wipes 8" x 8" so that when they're folded in half they fit perfectly in a commercial wipes container. I'm able to fit 8 wipes in each container. I then mix up a wipe solution of essential oils, baby soap and water and pour over the wipes.
And then I have the most wonderful diaper covers ever. My friend Jenn uses wool soakers for her kids and told me about them and offered to make them for me if I was interested. After learning more about them I thought they sounded like a great option for a diaper cover. Jenn made me six soakers, three for each boy. She also sent a pair of longies that are too small for her kids. Aren't they beautiful?!
The boys weren't into posing so I wasn't able to get very good pictures, but aren't their 'bum sweaters' so cute!

Very nice Kristy! I loved using cloth diapers with Benjamin & wish I'd been more diligent with Manda & Kirby. Enjoy:)
Cute little creations, the boys and the bum sweaters. I like the colors and patterns. Thanks you Jenn ! Mom J
Kristy what are you using to launder the diapers? I'm not completely satisfied with my process.
