....Arlen. He has something called cellulitis. His knee started hurting on Sunday night and on Monday morning he started having the symptoms of cellulitis.
The reason I knew what cellulitis was and that he needed to get treatment right away is because my sister Jaime recently struggled with a very serious case of it and was going to the hospital twice a day to receive intravenous antibiotics and it took three different antibiotics until one of them worked.
Arlen went to the doctor right away on Monday and the doctor prescribed antibiotics. Well today the infection is getting worse and spreading down his leg. The doctor has changed the antibiotics. Please pray these ones work. If they don't start working by Monday the next antibiotics to try should work but they are $1500. Most of you reading this know Arlen has been out of work for 7 weeks and we have no health insurance.
Please pray he will get better soon. Its hard for him to sit with his leg elevated and he is in quite a bit of pain that Tylenol is not doing much for. Thanks for your prayers and I'll keep you posted.
